Ingredientes

  • 1 pound cube steaks
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. scallions or possibly green onions, thin sliced
  • 1/2 c. beef broth
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. minced fresh parsley
  • Minced fresh parsley for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle meat with pepper. Heat 1 tsp. butter in 12" skillet over high heat. Add in steaks and cook 1 to 2 min on each side till browned. Remove to a platter, cover to keep hot. Reduce heat to moderately low. Add in remaining butter and scallions to skillet. Cook 1 to 2 min till scallions are wilted. Mix broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, cornstarch and 1 Tbsp. parsley in small bowl. Stir into skillet, boil about 2 min, stirring constantly till sauce thickens slightly. Pour over steaks. Makes 4 servings.
