Ingredientes

  • 9 ounce all-purpose flour
  • 9 ounce whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds toasted, grnd
  • 1 tsp whole cumin seeds toasted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 1/2 ounce sugar
  • 4 ounce butter cubed, softened
  • 1 c. buttermilk

Direcciones

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in the bowl of an electric mixer. Cut in the soft butter with the paddle attachment till the mix resembles coarse meal. Add in sufficient of the buttermilk to bring the dough together. Turn over on counter, divide in half or possibly quarters, wrap in plastic wrap and chill overnight.
  2. Roll into paper thin sheets with a rolling pin or possibly with a pasta machine. Sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper, and bake on baking sheet lined with parchment paper at 300 degrees in convection oven for about 12 to 15 min, or possibly till golden.
  3. This recipe yields 12 servings.
