Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. melted butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 c. enriched flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp curry pwdr
  • 1 dsh paprika
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. wine usually sherry wine
  • 3 c. shrimp (or possibly chicken)
  • 4 c. rice

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter in a pan. After the butter is melted, add in the flour, salt, paprika and curry pwdr. Stir in the lowfat milk till the butter paste and the lowfat milk is smooth and thickened. Stir, stir, stir, till smooth. Use a wire whip. It will help get the lumps out easier. Stir constantly.
  2. Then add in catsup and wine till it is all mixed together. Then add in the shrimp and heat through. Serve over rice.
  3. Description: "This is a Doubled recipe. But it is one I always beg my mom to make when I am home. It is absolutely wonderful. This is a doubled recipe due to the fact which when we would make it would take 8 servings for there to be sufficient."
