Ingredientes

  • 2 x chicken breasts
  • 2 c. water
  • 5 x potatoes minced
  • 5 x carrots minced
  • 1 x yellow onion minced
  • 1 x green pepper minced
  • 2 stalk celery minced
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. frzn peas
  • 1/2 c. frzn corn
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp curry pwdr
  • 1 tsp cornstarch Cooked rice

  1. [I am not proud of my curry stew and cook more by approximations rather than following a recipe. Ryo]
  2. couple of chicken breasts in a big pot with 2 c. of water. After it begins to boil, I slice into bite-sized chunks 5 potatoes, 5 carrots, one yellow onion, one green pepper and 2 stalks of celery and add in to the pot. When they have begun to soften, I add in a can of mushrooms and a half c. each of frzn peas and corn. Turn it down to low heat when it begins to boil and simmer for 30 min. Add in 1 Tablespoons of salt, 1/2 Tablespoons of pepper and 2 Tablespoons of curry pwdr. Dissolve 1 Tablespoons of corn
  3. starch in a c. of water and mix into stew. Let it simmer for another 10 min and it is ready to serve over rice. You can adjust the seasonings to your taste and add in more corn starch if desired it thicker.
  4. This recipe serves 8 easily. Hope you like it.
