Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Mushrooms, dry -Or possibly
  • 1 c. Mushrooms, fresh -Or possibly sliced
  • 1 quart Water boiling
  • 1 med Celery stalk
  • 1 lrg Carrot minced
  • 1 med Onion finely minced
  • 1/4 tsp Caraway seeds
  • 1/8 tsp Marjoram
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 med Potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter Pepper

Direcciones

  1. Stir mushrooms into boiling water, add in celery, carrots, onion, caraway seeds, marjoram, salt and pepper, and cook slowly for 1 hour. Add in potatoes; simmer 40 min more. Make thickening by slightly browning flour and butter in skillet. Add in to soup and bring to boil before serving.
  2. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
  3. Variation: Pierce (to drain grease) and brown chunks of kielbasa and add in to soup.
