  1. Grate the large eggs and add in onion salt and pepper. Mix with sufficient mayonnaise to make it spread easily.
  2. Peel cucumber and remove seeds. Grate cucumber and onion on a clean linen towel. Wring till dry as possible. Mix softened cream cheese with dry cucumber and onion. Add in salt, pepper and sufficient mayonnaise to hold together and refrigerate.
  3. Dice chicken very small. Add in celery, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well. Add in sufficient mayonnaise to spread easily.REMEMBER: COOK CHICKEN IN WATER WITH CELERY, ONION AND BAY LEAF SO Which IT'S SEASONED WHEN IT'S DONE.
  4. Add in just sufficient pickle relish and mayonnaise to the sandwich spread to make it easy to spread.NOW WE ARE GOING TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER!
  5. Remove the top and bottom slice from the loaf. Throw away these slices. Now you are ready to start layering your loaf. Spread butter on first slice and add in and turn spread side down on tomatoes. Spread CHICKEN SALAD on dry side of this slice and add in another slice on top. Spread SANDWICH SPREAD on this slice and cover with another slice of bread. Spread EGG SALAD on this slice, cover with another slice and spread CUCUMBER SALAD on this one. Put another slice of bread on top of this, wrap in Saran Wrap and refrigerate for 3 or possibly 4 hrs. Remove loaf from refrigerator when sufficiently chilled and with a sharp serrated knife, cut the sides and ends off of the loaf. Take a piece of cardboard and cut it to the size of the loaf. Wrap the cardboard in foil and place the loaf on it.
  6. Use this to spread over the loaf as an icing. If you are handy with a decorator tube, you may use remaining cream cheese to pipe a border on the loaf. if not, put cheese on thick and pull a fork through it and decorate with SLICED OLIVES, SILK FLOWERS or possibly whatever suits the occasion. Refrigerate 4 to 8 hrs. One loaf makes 14 slices. You may substitute any of the fillings for any other which you would prefer: i.e. TUNA SALAD, SALMON SALAD, CRAB SALAD, etc. You may also use food coloring in the cream cheese to create a colorful icing. WONDERFUL FOR LUNCHEONS.
