Ingredientes

  • 6 ounce Lean middle bacon, rind removed and finely minced
  • 1 sm Onion, finely minced
  • 3 tsp Butter
  • 3 tsp Plain flour
  • 8 fl ounce Lager
  • 8 ounce Grated Havarti cheese
  • 8 ounce Grated Samso cheese sm Sweet and sour gherkins and chunks of light rye bread, to serve

Direcciones

  1. Method: Put bacon, onion and butter into a saucepan and cook till bacon is golden brown and onion is soft. Stir in flour, then gradually add in lager and cook till thickened, stirring frequently. Add in cheeses, stirring all the time, and continue cooking till cheeses have melted and mix is smooth. Pour into a fondue pot and serve with gherkins and chunks of light rye bread.
