There is something special about cherries and chocolate together that make my heart sing. Making this Dark Chocolate Cherry Banana Smoothie just might make you sing too.

Dark Chocolate Cherry Banana Smoothie

• ½ frozen banana
• 1 Tablespoon Special Dark cocoa
• ½ Tablespoon honey
• ½ teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste
• 6 to 8 frozen cherries
• ¼ cup 2% milk

Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend until completely smooth.

I wanted to name this recipe a shake. But then I thought, what really is the difference from a shake and a smoothie.

I am here to tell you it’s all about the fruit. Shakes are an ice cream base and smoothies are a fruit base.

But if you don’t tell anyone, this one is as thick as a shake. Thanks to the banana.
