Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Whipping cream
  • 12 ounce Semisweet chocolate
  • 1 Tbsp. Instant espresso pwdr
  • 10 x Egg yolks
  • 3 Tbsp. Coffee liqueur
  • 8 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Whipped cream
  • 4 x Strawberries, halved

Direcciones

  1. Stir cream, chocolate and espresso pwdr in top of double boiler over simmering water till mix is smooth. Blend yolks and liqueur in large bowl. Whisk in half of chocolate mix. Return mix to double boiler and stir till thickened, 10 to 15 min. Strain into bowl. Divide mix among eight 3/4 c. ramekins. Cover and chill 3 hrs.
  2. Preheat broiler. Sprinkle to of each custard with 1 teaspoon sugar.
  3. Broil 2 inches from heat source till sugar caramelizes, watching carefully about 30 seconds. Chill till cool.
  4. Spoon whipped cream into pastry bag fitted with large star tip. Pipe rosette of cream atop each dessert. Garnish with strawberry halves and serve.
