Deep Fried Mashed Potatoes

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Mashed potatoes Salt and pepper, to taste Cheese, any type (optional)
  • 1/2 c. Flour
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk Oil or possibly lard, sufficient For deep frying

Direcciones

  1. Make mashed potatoes into golf-ball or possibly small balls. Add in cheese(s), as per taste. Freeze for 2 hrs, or possibly more.
  2. Make batter from flour, lowfat milk, egg and salt. Gently dip mashed potato balls in batter, being careful which all exposed potato is coated with batter.
  3. Deep fry in warm oil/fat till golden brown-brown.
  4. Serve as a side dish, in place of any other form of potatoe.
