Receta Deviled Chinese Tea Eggs and Michaelmas Day
Today is Michaelmas Day.
It is the feast for the Archangels, St Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.
These angels were some butt kicking bad mamba jambas.
You see, Michael was the Archangel who hurled the Antichrist (devil) down from heaven because of his evil ways.
See what I mean by butt kicking mamba jambas?
These Archangels should not be confused with the nice sweet guardian angels who have a feast in October.
So for this feast day, it is tradition to eat goose.
To be honest, I am more of a turkey kind of gal.
Most of us will make food with an angel theme.
You know, things like angel hair pasta, or angel food cake.
Not me, today I will do the opposite.
Today it will be deviled eggs.
Ya ll see where I am going with this?
I thought you would.
Happy Michaelmas Day everyone!

- 1 1/2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon Chinese mustard
- chopped chives for garnish
Directions
Cut eggs lengthwise. Carefully remove yolks and place into a small bowl.
Mash yolks with a fork and stir in mayonnaise, pickle relish, and mustard. Add salt and pepper.

Peace be with you,
Veronica
