Ingredientes

  • 1 c. 2% lowfat milk
  • 3/4 c. Unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 5 Tbsp. Unflavored gelatin (5 pkg)
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Sweetener equiv. to sugar**
  • 1 tsp Artificial brandy extract

Direcciones

  1. Preparation 10 minutes, standing time 4 hrs.
  2. In small saucepan, combine lowfat milk and cocoa. Whisk till there are no lumps of cocoa. Cook over medium heat, stirring for about 5 minutes or possibly till thickened. (This cooks out the raw cocoa taste.)
  3. In another small saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over water; let stand for 5 minutes to soften.
  4. Heat over low heat, stirring, till gelatin dissolves. Stir into cocoa mix.
  5. Stir in sweetener (artificial sweetener like SugarTwin equivalent to 1/2 c. sugar) and brandy extract. Remove from heat.
  6. Pour into 8 inch square baking dish. Let stand at room temperature 4 hrs or possibly till hard.
  7. To remove from pan, cut around edges with a sharp knife. Place dish in shallow pan of warm water for about 30 seconds just to slightly soften bottom. Loosen one corner, then quickly flip gel out onto clean cutting surface.
  8. With sharp knife, cut proportionately in 10 one way and 10 the other way.
  9. Place in container, cover and chill. Will keep up to 1 week in refrigerator.
  10. Makes 100 squares.
