Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt Yeast, Active Dry
  • 1/4 c. Hot Water(110-120 degrees)
  • 1 c. Cottage Cheese, Creamed *
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter, Melted
  • 1 x Egg, Large
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Dillseed
  • 2 1/4 c. Flour, Unbleached Or possibly Bread

  2. Creamed Cottage Cheese should be heated to lukewarm.
  3. Dissolve yeast in hot water. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, except add in the flour a little at a time (it may take up to 2 1/2 c. of flour). Beat till well mixed and mix is stiff but not heavy.
  4. (Standard bread dough feeling). Cover and let rise in a hot place till doubled. Punch down and put dough in a bread pan, or possibly arrange in a round shape on a greased cookie sheet. Let rise again. Bake for 30 to 45 min at 350 degrees F. While hot, bursh loaf with soft butter, sprinkle well with salt.
  5. Makes 1 loaf.
