Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Barley
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 1/2 lb Fresh green beans
  • 2 lb (or possibly so) white or possibly red skinned potatoes, peel (or possibly not) and cube
  • 2 med Sized onions, minced
  • 2 c. Water or possibly veggie broth Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Dill weed, about

Direcciones

  1. PreCook 1/2 c. barley in 2 c. water for about 20 - 30 min.
  2. Clean and trim 1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans peel (or possibly not) and cube 2 pounds (or possibly so) white or possibly red skinned potatoes chop 2 medium sized onions.
  3. Place barley and vegetables in large pot or possibly casserole with about 2 c. water or possibly veggie broth, salt and pepper to taste, add in about 1 tsp. dill weed. Simmer or possibly nuke till vegetables are tender.
  4. This is good served immediately and is also really good reheated.
  5. Makes agood take to work lunch, too.
  6. I think mushrooms would be an excellent addition to this, will add in them next time. If you hate dill, use tarragon or possibly chives or possibly......
