Dipped Cinnamon Sugar Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. softened butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. warm rock candies
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margerine Heart-shaped cookie cutter about 3 inches tall

Direcciones

  1. Heat over to 400 degrees F. Combine sugar, 1 c. butter/margarine, egg,Eand vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed till light and fluffy. Add in baking pwdr, flour, salt, and then beat at low speed till a soft dough forms.
  2. Sprinkle flour on counter top. Roll the dough out to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut dough with cookie cutter (which has been dipped in flour). Place hearts 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 9 - 12 min, or possibly till cookie edges are golden. Set the cookies aside cold down.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, heat warm rock candies and 1 Tbsp. butter/margarine, stirring the mix till smooth. Dip half of each cooled down cookie into the melted candy, allowing excess to drip off. Place cookies on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Chill till set.
  4. Makes about E3 - 4 dozen cookies!
