- Fry steak in 10-12 inch fry pan till brown. Set aside in dish. To existing oil and butter in pan add in onions, pepper; saute/fry till soft. Add in cooked steak, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire, and sugar. Cook on low heat approximately 1 hour. Pour steak mix over cooked rice and serve. Serves 3-6.
