Donna's Low Cholesterol Pepper Steak

Ingredientes

  • 2 lbs. lean round steak, cut in thin strips
  • 2 pound onions, sliced
  • 2 lg. green peppers, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon safflower or possibly corn oil
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Direcciones

  1. Fry steak in 10-12 inch fry pan till brown. Set aside in dish. To existing oil and butter in pan add in onions, pepper; saute/fry till soft. Add in cooked steak, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire, and sugar. Cook on low heat approximately 1 hour. Pour steak mix over cooked rice and serve. Serves 3-6.
