Ingredientes

  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c. melted shortening
  • 3 sqs. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pcs
  • 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, liquid removed and minced

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, baking pwdr, and salt. Stir in egg, lowfat milk, then brown sugar. Grease and flour 3 (6 x 3 x 2 1/4 inch) miniature loaf pans. Add in to batter, melted shortening and chocolate, stirring till blended. Stir in chocolate chips and cherries. Divide batter between 3 pans. Bake about 45 min or possibly till done. Cold in pans for about 15 min, then remove and finish cooling. May be baked in 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 min.
