Double Chocolate Fudgy Walnut Brownies

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. walnuts minced
  • 2 ounce unsweetened chocolate minced
  • 2/3 c. room temperature butter plus more
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c. cake flour plus more
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips

Direcciones

  1. Toast nuts in dry skillet set over medium heat till lightly browned, 3 to 4 min. Set aside. Microwave chocolate till melted, about 1 minute. Set aside till cooled to room temperature.
  2. Beat butter and sugar on medium speed till very well mixed. Add in 1 egg and mix till almost incorporated. Add in remaining egg and mix till just combined. Scrape sides of bowl. Add in vanilla and melted chocolate and mix 30 seconds. Fold in flour and salt on low speed till almost combined, with some flour still visible. Using spatula, mix in chocolate chips and nuts.
  3. Pour into greased and floured 9-inch pan. Smooth top. Bake at 350 degrees till center stops rising and toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs, about 27 min. Cold to room temperature. Cut into 12 squares, or possibly chill overnight, covered airtight up to 3 days. (Can be frzn up to 2 weeks.)
