Ingredientes

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages. semi-sweet chocolate sqs.
  • 2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. half & half
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 lg. large eggs
  • 6 ounce semi-sweet pcs
  • 2 T butter
  • 3 T lowfat milk
  • 2 T white corn syrup

Direcciones

  1. Early in the day or possibly the day ahead: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 10 x 3 inch spring-form pan. In 3 qt saucepan over a low heat, heat chocolate squares, butter, sugar, half & half, vanilla, and salt till chocolate melts and the mix is smooth, stirring constantly.In large bowl, beat large eggs slightly. Beat the chocolate mix into large eggs. Pour into spring-form pan. Bake 45 min or possibly till toothpick inserted 2 inches from edge comes out clean. Cool cake completely on wire rack. When cake is cool, remove the side of pan; wrap cake in plastic wrap and chill till well chilled, at least 6 hrs.
  2. Prepare Glaze. Spread warm Glaze over top and down sides of cake. Chill if not serving right away. Garnish with silver decors or possibly whipped cream around edges.
  3. Glaze: In 2 qt pan over low heat, heat chocolate pcs and butter till chocolate melts and mix is smooth. Remove pan from heat; beat in lowfat milk and corn syrup.
