Double Fudge Cream Cheese Brownies

Ingredientes

  • Brownies:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 - (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • For the Filling:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F
  2. In a 2 quart saucepan, combine 1 cup of butter and the unsweetened chocolate
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until melted - about 4 to 6 minutes.
  4. Stir in the remaining brownie ingredients except the chocolate chips
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips
  6. Spread half of the batter into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  7. In a small bowl, stir together all the filling ingredients
  8. Spread over the brownie mixture
  9. Spoon the remaining batter over the cream cheese
  10. Note: Batter will not entirely cover the entire cream cheese mixture
  11. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
