Ingredientes

  • Fresh bread crumbs (about 1 pkg., add in sage if needed)
  • Minced onion
  • Minced apple
  • Minced celery
  • Minced carrots (optional)
  • 2+ bouillon cubes, dissolved in water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sage, if needed

Direcciones

  1. In skillet, saute/fry onions, apple, celery and carrots in a stick of butter, till brown.
  2. Add in to bread crumbs. Add in bouillon cubes dissolved in water. Mix crumbs till moist. Bake in turkey or possibly a buttered casserole.
  3. Turkey should be covered with a sheet of buttered cheese cloth. Great for making brown gravy. Soak cloth in a little water and add in to drippings of turkey. Add in a mix of water and flour to thicken gravy. If you have the giblets, cook in a small amount of water and skim off scum. The water from the giblets can be used in gravy also.
