Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. sweetened dry cranberries (such as Craisins)
  • 2 c. orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chopped orange rind
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chilled stick margarine, cut into pcs Cooking spray

Direcciones

  1. Plain dry cranberries can be used instead of sweetened.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer; cook over medium heat 13 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed and mix is thick. Spoon cranberry mix into a blender or possibly food processor; process till smooth. Set aside.
  4. Combine flour, oats, and 1/2 c. brown sugar; cut in margarine with a pastry blender or possibly 2 knives till the mix resembles coarse meal.
  5. Reserve 1 c. flour mix; set aside. Press remaining flour mix in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Spread cranberry mix proportionately over flour mix. Sprinkle reserved 1 c. flour mix over cranberry mix.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min or possibly till browned. Cold in pan on a wire rack.
  7. Yield: 36 bars (serving size: 1 bar).
