Ingredientes

  • 750 gm Lady fingers, (bhindi)
  • 300 ml Curd
  • 1 tsp Garam masala pwdr, (5 g.) Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Pounded red chillies, (10 g.)
  • 2 tsp Minced green chillies, (10 g.)
  • 4 tsp Oil, (20 ml.)
  • 4 tsp Ginger-garlic paste, (20 g.)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric pwdr, (5 g.)
  • 2 tsp Ghee., (10 g.)

Direcciones

  1. Using a hand mixer, blend together curd, garam masala pwdr (reserving a little for later use); salt, pounded red chillies and half of the minced green chillies.
  2. Clean and trim the lady fingers. Make slits at a slant in the bhindi with a knife. Soak bhindi in the curd mix and keep aside for 10 min.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add in ginger-garlic paste, the remaining green chillies, turmeric pwdr and fry well. Add in bhindi along with the curd mix and cook for 10 min.
  4. Sprinkle ghee and a little garam masala pwdr on top of the bhindi. Cover the pan with a tight fitting lid and place a heavy weight above. Steam on a low heat for five min. Remove the lid and cook for 10 min until almost dry. Serve warm.
