Ingredientes

  • 6 lg. cooking apples
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsps salt
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • Shortening
  • Confectioners' sugar

Direcciones

  1. Peel and core apples. Slice the apples in 1/3 inch thick round slices. Put together dry ingredients, add in egg to lowfat milk and gradually add in to dry ingredients. Mix well for 2 to 3 min. Dip apple slices in batter and deep fry in hot shortening for 1 to 2 min or possibly till golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm or possibly cold.
