Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 c. Prepared fruit, about 1 lb Granny Smith or possibly other apples
  • 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1/3 c. Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd allspice
  • 4 1/2 c. Granulated sugar (remember I used 1/2 which)
  • 1 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Butter
  • 1 x Pouch liquid pectin

Direcciones

  1. Peel and core apples. Measure 2 c. prepared apples into large saucepan.
  2. Add in raisins, water, lemon juice, cinnamon, and allspice. Mix sugars into fruit mix in saucepan. Add in margarine. Place saucepan over high heat and stier till mix comes to a full boil. Boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from eat. Add in Pectin. Stir and skim for 5 min to prevent floating fruit. Pour quickly into hot , sterilized jars.
