Ingredientes

  • 1/2 pound bacon, cut crosswise (1/2 inch)
  • 2 lg. onions, chopped
  • 1 pound potatoes, diced
  • 4 lg. carrots, grated
  • 1 1/2 quart. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt & pepper
  • 3 tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 3 tbsp. flour

Direcciones

  1. Cook bacon slowly till done, but not crisp. Add in onions and saute/fry just till limp. Add in potatoes, carrots, lowfat milk, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 4 hrs. Blend 3 Tbsp. lowfat milk and 3 Tbsp. flour to make a paste. Add in to soup to thicken. Stir 10 min.
