Receta Dutch Onion Soup

Ingredientes
- 1/2 pound bacon, cut crosswise (1/2 inch)
- 2 lg. onions, chopped
- 1 pound potatoes, diced
- 4 lg. carrots, grated
- 1 1/2 quart. lowfat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt & pepper
- 3 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 3 tbsp. flour
Direcciones
- Cook bacon slowly till done, but not crisp. Add in onions and saute/fry just till limp. Add in potatoes, carrots, lowfat milk, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 4 hrs. Blend 3 Tbsp. lowfat milk and 3 Tbsp. flour to make a paste. Add in to soup to thicken. Stir 10 min.
