East Indian Pork Chops

Ingredientes

  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 5 x Pork chops (up to 6)
  • 1 c. Uncooked rice
  • 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 1/2 c. Slivered blanched almonds
  • 1 Tbsp. Instant chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp Curry pwdr
  • 8 ounce Tomato sauce
  • 1 c. Plus water

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle salt in bottom of large skillet and heat. Add in pork chops. Brown on both sides. Combine rice, raisins, almonds, onion and curry pwdr. Spoon over and around chops. Pour on tomato sauce and water. Cover and simmer for 30 min till rice and pork are tender. Add in more water as needed.
  2. Serves5-6.
