Easy Apple Strudel

Ingredientes

  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 2 c. finely minced apples
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 ounce. can Pillsbury Refrigerated Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Powdered sugar

Direcciones

  1. In small saucepan, heat butter; add in crumbs. Simmer 1 to 2 min or possibly till crumbs are golden, stirring constantly. In large bowl, combine apples, raisins, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice and vanilla; toss lightly.
  2. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 15x10 inch jelly roll pan. On waxed paper, unroll dough into 2 long rectangles. Overlap long sides of rectangles 1 inch; press perforations and edges to seal. Press or possibly roll to 13x9 inch rectangle.
  3. Spread crumb mix over dough to within 1/2 inch of edge. Starting on the 13 inch side of the rectangle, spoon apple mix over 1/3 of dough to within 1 inch of the edges. Starting with the apple side, roll up jelly roll fashion. Place seam side down on prepared pan. Remove waxed paper; tuck under ends. Brush with egg. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 to 30 min or possibly till deep golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cold 5 - 10 min. Carefully remove from pan using 2 spatulas. Serve with whipped cream, if you like. 8 servings.
