This Easy Bacon and Spinach Artichoke Dip is not only tasty, but easy to make as well. It’s a one-bowl recipe that comes together with a snap of a finger. Don’t wait till game night to make it. It’s wonderful to make any day of the week! This recipe for Easy Bacon and Spinach Artichoke Dip has been in our family for years. I first discovered it in 2009, when this site was just a little dot on the world wide web. My children were young back then (3 and 1) and didn’t have a clue as to what an artichoke looked or tasted like. Every time recipe is made, left overs are no where to be found.  I remember bringing this to a military spouse function and one of them couldn’t get enough of it. She claimed that even though she wasn’t a fan of artichokes, she enjoyed them in this dip. The original recipe did not call for bacon and for the longest time, I left it out. However, since I have grown tremendously in the culinary department over the years, I thought that the addition of bacon would take this dip over the top. I think my suspicious were correct! Easy Bacon and Spinach Artichoke Dip: A One-Bowl Recipe The concept for this Easy Bacon and Spinach Artichoke Dip is super simple. It’s a one-bowl recipe that only takes 10 minutes to prepare and 15-20 minutes to cook, from start to finish! Combine everything in a medium bowl and stir until well combined. Place mixed ingredients in a greased baking dish and cook as the recipe states. I don’t know about you, but if I’m hosting a party or a get together, I welcome any recipe that can be whipped up in under 10 minutes flat. Not only is this an easy dish to make, it’s also versatile as well. We have served this dip with tortilla chips, crackers, and even toasted bread bowls. We’ve also been known to eat it plain, straight out of the oven. You can also switch the types of cheeses as well. I’ve heard Gruyere and maybe Swiss may be a good twist. The bacon in this recipe is what puts it over the top! The bacon is what gives this appetizer a savory flavor when it combines with the artichokes. At first, it may not sound like the pairing of the century, however, it’s amazing how well they mold together. Our family enjoys this recipe and we hope yours will also! Serving Size: 1 cup Servings: 8 people : 228 kcal Ingredients 14 oz. can of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped 10 oz. pkg. of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained 3/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese 3/4 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 4 strips of cooked bacon, cut into pieces Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and transfer to a 9 inch dish or pie plate. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve with crackers, chips, veggies, or toasted bread.
