Easy Chili Relleno Casserole

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. half and half
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 3 (4 ounce.) cans whole green chilies
  • 1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce

Direcciones

  1. Beat half and half with eggs and flour till smooth.
  2. Split chilies open, rinse out seeds, drain on paper towels. Reserve 1/2 c. cheese for topping.
  3. Make alternate layers of cheese, chiles and egg mix in deep 1 1/2 qt casserole.
  4. Pour tomato sauce over top.
  5. Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
  6. Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees. Let set 10 min before serving.
