Ingredientes

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 3 T cocoa
  • 1/3 c. buttermilk

Direcciones

  1. Fold in a bowl:
  2. Heat 1 stick butter, add in 1/2 cup oil, 1 cup water, 3 1/2 T cocoa. Bring to a boil and pour over flour-sugar mix.Add in and fold in 1/2 cup buttermilk and 2 slightly beaten large eggs.
  3. Bake in 9 x 13 pan for 30 min at 375 degrees.
  4. To make buttermilk use 1 tsp vinegar and balance plain lowfat milk.
  5. Pour frosting over hot cake.
  6. Mix, bring to a boil and add in: 2 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 cup nuts minced. Pour over hot cake and spread.
