Now that's it March, I'm starting to think about warm weather, long walks in the woods with my favorite canine friend and being busy outdoors again! Just like the world awakens in Spring and the creatures get busy, so do I! That's when I like to keep wholesome snacks that won't ruin my meals on hand. This Easy DOVE® Fruit Blueberry Banana Almond Trail Mix is a delicious blend of ingredients that taste fantastic together and keep me going between meals.
DOVE® Fruit whole blueberries dipped in creamy DOVE® dark chocolate are combined with salty roasted whole almonds, banana chips, toasted oat cereal and crunchy toasted coconut chips for a blend that will keep you satisfied. Adults and kids alike will love this flavor combination! What's NOT to love? Whole fruit, nuts, and whole grains make a nice balanced snack...the addition of DOVE® dark chocolate to the mix kicks it up a notch or two in the flavor department! (I have long been a fan of creamy DOVE® chocolate!)
It only takes a few minutes to combine the ingredients and have your trail mix ready. I like to portion the trail mix out into 1 cup scoops and put it in plastic zipper bags for an easy "on-the-go" snack option I can slip into my purse and enjoy anytime! It really helps me avoid that urge to indulge on less acceptable snacks between meals. This mix also makes a great on-the-go balanced breakfast option for you or your kids!

Easy DOVE® Fruit Blueberry Banana Almond Trail Mix

DOVE® Fruit Whole Blueberries, salty roasted whole almonds, toasted oat cereal, crunchy toasted coconut and banana chips combine to make a wholesome trail mix perfect for snacking!
Ingredients
- 1- 6oz. package DOVE® Fruit Whole Blueberries dipped in DOVE® Dark Chocolate
- 2 1/2 cups toasted oat cereal
- 1 cup dry roasted and salted whole almonds
- 1 cup banana chips
- 1 - 1.4 oz. packaged toasted coconut chips (you can find them in the dried fruits section)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Portion out into 1 cup servings and place in zipper plastic bags, if desired.
