Easy Mushroom And Bacon Pasta

Ingredientes

  • 1 x onion, minced
  • 3 x cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, (2 to 3)
  • 1 tsp dry thyme or possibly 3 - 4 tsp fresh, (1 to 2) thyme
  • 5 x rashers or possibly 200 g lean bacon, minced and rind removed
  • 6 c. , (or possibly approximately, (6 to 7) 600g) minced mushrooms
  • 1 c. or possibly 250 g creme fraiche Pepper to season
  • 1 dsh jalapeno sauce, (optional)
  • 40 gm fresh egg tagliatelle

Direcciones

  1. Place a large pot of salted water on to boil for the pasta.
  2. In a large fry pan or possibly pot, saute/fry the onion and garlic in the extra virgin olive oil for 5 min on a low heat.
  3. Add in the thyme and cook for a further 1-2 min.
  4. Add in the bacon and stir and saute/fry for another few min.
  5. Now add in the minced mushrooms and cook till the mushrooms have softened.
  6. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Drain.
  7. Add in the creme fraiche to the mushrooms and when completely integrated, season the sauce and add in the cooked noodles.
  8. Serve with a green salad.
  9. For extra crunch try adding toasted pine nuts to this pasta. Also if you love Parmesan cheese, this can be added with the creme fraiche and also when serving.
