Ingredientes

  • 1 lb mushrooms (white and shitake)
  • 2 c. water, or possibly as needed
  • 1 Tbsp. Whole wheat flour to thicken
  • 1 dsh Soy sauce to taste
  • 1/2 tsp salt Herbs of your choice (basil, marjoram, thyme)

Direcciones

  1. Chop mushrooms small or possibly large, depending on your taste. Shitake mushrooms give this a really meaty quality, so if possible use as many as possible (about half and half). In a large pan add in a couple Tbsp. of water and the mushrooms, and heat on medium. Let the mushrooms cook for about 8 or possibly so min till most of the water has cooked out. Add in herbs. Slowly add in flour and water, stirring constantly as to avoid lumps. When it has become the consistency you like, add in salt and soy sauce. Pepper is optional.
  2. This tastes great over plain brown rice.
