Easy Russian Meat Pies

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound loaf frzn white bread dough
  • 3/4 pound grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. canned sweet sour red cabbage, liquid removed
  • 2 tbsp. dry parsley
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • Dairy lowfat sour cream

Direcciones

  1. Thaw frzn bread dough according to package directions. In skillet, cook grnd beef, onions, and garlic till meat is brown. Drain off excess fat. Stir in cabbage, parsley, salt and pepper. Set aside. Divide thawed bread dough proportionately into 18 portions. On slightly floured surface roll each piece to a 4 inch circle.
  2. Place about 1/4 c. of meat mix onto half of each circle of dough. Fold other half over. Seal edges by pressing with fingers. Place sealed edge down on a greased baking sheet. Let rise covered in a hot place about 30 min. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 min. Serve with lowfat sour cream. Makes 18.
