Receta Easy Sausage Quiche
Easy Sausage Quiche– Even men love quiche when it’s loaded with sausage and cheddar cheese!
I don’t remember ever having quiche when I was growing up. I think the first time I tried it was at a bridal shower brunch. I loved it. But I neglected to get the recipe, and then I proceeded to forgot about it. After I had been married for a few years, I tried a quiche recipe I found in one of my cookbooks. It called for spinach, and let’s just say it didn't go over very well at my house.
Then a few years ago I got this Sausage Quiche recipe from a friend. It doesn't call for any fancy ingredients, and it comes together in a snap. But the best part? My family loves it! Including my husband and four boys.
This sausage quiche is great for brunch, but to be honest, we usually have it for dinner paired with fresh fruit. Whenever you serve it, it’s sure to be a hit with girly girls and manly men alike.
Easy Sausage Quiche
1 unbaked 9" pie shell
- 1/2 pound pork sausage
- 1/2 cup finely diced onion
- 1 1/2 cups cheese (I use cheddar and mozzarella)
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Cook sausage and onion till brown, drain well. Spread in the bottom of the pie shell. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top of the sausage. Beat the eggs, milk, and seasonings in a small bowl. Pour into pie shell on top of the other ingredients. Bake at 375° for about 40 minutes, or till crust is light brown and a knife comes out clean.
-Serves 6-8
