Receta Easy Summer Fruit Cobbler
All you have to do to realize what an amazing country we live in is to watch the news about the rest of the world for a few minutes. So many countries are ruled by despots, tyrannical military regimes, Communists, medically insane religious zealots, or have no stable government at all. Oh sure, this great country of ours is eat up with its own bag full of criminals, idiots and con men, but I think most of us would agree that it is pretty wonderful to be able to voice our complaints about our government without the fear of being taken out back and shot.
It also makes me swell with patriotism at the fact that we are all still living the dream that the Pilgrams came to this land to follow 400 years ago, that our forefathers laid down on paper over 200 years ago, and that we still hold on to today; the freedom to live our lives how we please.
Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It’s what we all are striving for and it’s what many others in the world never get a shot at.
Therefore, on this Independence Day I will be celebrating all of this country’s freedoms with this simple and delicious fruit cobbler. Pick whatever fruit you like. It’s a free country.
