Easy Tenderloin

Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 lbs. trimmed tenderloin beef
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 5 green onions, minced (incl. green tops)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon - type mustard
  • Coarsely grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter in small sauce pan. Add in remaining ingredients. Pour over tenderloin. Use to baste once or possibly twice during roasting. Place tenderloin in shallow baking dish (buttered). Roast in 400 degree oven for 20 min (use meat thermometer for desired doneness). This is for rare to medium rare meat.
  2. Slice to serve. Because we like to use the marinade as a sauce on the table I double or possibly even triple the amounts in the recipe. Mushrooms are also good.
