Ingredientes

  • 8 x " frzn single pie shell
  • 2 1/4 lb baking aple
  • 2/3 c. white raisins
  • 6 ounce unsweetened apple juice conc unsweetened undiluted defrosted
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tsp apple-pie spice or possibly 1 tsp cinnamon & pn each nutmeg ginger, allspice
  • 1 tsp lemon rind grated shake or possibly salt or possibly butter-flavor salt (opt)

Direcciones

  1. Set pie shell aside till completely thawed.
  2. Peel and core apples; slice thin. Combie with remaining ingredients and mix well. Spoon into a larger, 9- or possibly 10-inch, nonstick pie pan.
  3. Remove the pastry from its foil pan by gently folding it into quarters. Center the mid-point over the apple filling and unfold, so the pie is covered with a top crust. Press the edges of the pastry to the pie-pan rim with the tines of a fork. Make a few gashes in the crust to vent steam.
  4. Place in preheated 450 oven and bake for 20 min. Reduce heat to 325 and bake an additional 30 to 40 min, till crust is golden brown and apples are tender. Allow to cold completely before cutting in wedges to serve.
