Receta Egg and Onion Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- Eggs – 3
- Basmati Rice – 1 cup
- Onions – 1, big, chopped
- Capsicum – 1, chopped
- Spring Onions – 3 tblsp, finely chopped
- Ghee – 2 tsp
- Chilli Sauce or Tomato Sauce – 3 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Oil as required
Method:
1. Beat the eggs well in a bowl.
2. Soak the rice for 30 minutes.
3. Cook till 3/4th done and remove.
4. Heat ghee in a pressure pan.
5. Saute the onions and capsicums for a minute.
6. Add chilli sauce and salt.
7. Stir well and simmer for another minute.
8. Add the egg mixture and cook till half-done.
9. Add the rice and stir well until evenly combined.
10. Cover and pressure cook until 1 or 2 whistles or until rice is cooked.
11. Garnish with spring onions.
