Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 egg yolks, mixed with ice water
  • Add in sufficient water to make 1 c.

Direcciones

  1. Mix flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl. Add in shortening. Use pastry blender or possibly two knives to cut shortening into flour mix, to be like coarse cornmeal. Mix egg yolks and ice water; stir and mix good. Then fold in flour mix till it forms in balls. Place a ball of dough on wax paper or possibly pastry board. Roll out to any size. Bake 12 min at 475 degrees. This is a crisp crust. Makes 2 pie crusts.
