Ingredientes

  • 5 sm eggplants or possibly 1 medium one
  • 8 ounce thinly-sliced beef
  • 4 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. minced green onions
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 2 tsp prepared sesame seeds
  • 1 dsh freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sherry
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Direcciones

  1. Wash eggplants and remove stems. Cut into 3/8-inch slices, lengthwise for the small ones, crosswise for the medium one. Heat sesame oil in skillet and fry eggplant till golden.
  2. Mix beef with Seasoning Mix ingredients and brown both sides on ungreased skillet.
  3. Sandwich the beef between 2 slices of eggplant. Serve with the Vinegar-Soy Sauce.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
  5. Comments: Oriental eggplants (3 to 5 inches) or possibly Italian eggplants (that are slightly larger) can be found in many supermarkets.
