Receta EJ's Applesauce
EJ's Applesauce
- Apples, Apples, and more Apples~
- 12-15 Apples, peeled, cored and chopped in large chunks
- 3-4 Pears, peeled, cored and chopped
- Juice from 2 lemons
- 1/4 cup Apple Cider (I use Indian Summer Apple Cider)
- 1 t cinnamon
Place apples, pears, juice from lemons and apple cider in large dutch oven or saucepan.
Simmer apple mixture until apples are tender
Using an immersion hand held blender (boat motor) puree apple mixture to desired consistency.
Stir in cinnamon
NOTE: I do not add any sugar to my applesauce, but feel free to add sugar if you want to.
Wonderful for eating or to use in baking.
