Ella Carmelli's Israeli Brisket

Ingredientes

  • 4 lb beef brisket
  • 1 lrg onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. sweet Concord Passover wine
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Direcciones

  1. Brown meat in Dutch oven or possibly heavy roasting pan.. If meat is very lean, use a little oil to brown. Add in sliced onion and brown. Sprinkle salt, pepper and flour onto meat. Add in orange juice and wine to pan.
  2. Cover and roast at 350 degrees for about 3 hrs or possibly till tender or possibly cook on stove over medium heat for same length of time.
  3. Serves 8-10.
