Ingredientes

  • 1 c. All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/8 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Cool unsalted butter, cut Into small pcs
  • 1 tsp Minced jalepenos
  • 1/4 c. Plus 1 ts buttermilk

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375 . Line a baking sheet with parchment or possibly wax paper. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Cut in butter with a fork or possibly fingers till mix is crumbly. Stir in pepper to taste. Add in just sufficient buttemilk, a little at a time, for mix to come together into a smooth ball of dough.
  2. Don't overwork dough. On a lightly floured surface roll out dough into a 7 inch round, 1/2 inch thick. Using a 1 inch cookie cutter press out 12 rounds. Reroll any scraps to make additional biscuits, but these won't be as tender. Transfer rounds to baking sheet and bake 15 mins or possibly till tops are golden. Serve hot.
