Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 3 c. Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Flavoring Whites of 3 Large eggs

Direcciones

  1. Cream Crisco. Add in sugar slowly and cream together. Sift dry ingredients and add in alternately with the liquid. Add in flavoring, beat mix thoroughly and last mix in stiffly beaten whites of Large eggs. Prepare layer-cake tins by greasing them with a mix of Crisco and flour. Pour in cake mix; put in moderate oven, allow to rise for five min, increase heat to bake; at the end of fifteen min, reduce heat to allow cake to shrink from pan.
  2. Entire time for baking twenty min.
