Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Grnd Beef
  • 2 x Garlic Cloves, Chopped
  • 2 x Hard Boiled Large eggs Cool, Minced
  • 1/4 c. Lowfat milk Salt & Black Pepper Raisins, To Taste Green Olives, Minced
  • 1 pch Crushed Red Pepper Veg. oil
  • 1 lrg Onion, Minced Pastry Dough

Direcciones

  1. Fry onions in veg. oil till soft. Add in chopped garlic and brown lightly.
  2. Drain oil. Add in grnd beef to onions and saute/fry till meat turns a light brown. Add in minced olives, Large eggs, salt and black pepper, raisins, healthy pinch of red pepper and lowfat milk. Allow to simmer (uncovered) over low heat for 5 mins.
  3. PASTRY DOUGH: Any good grade of commercial pie crust mix will give satisfactory results -or possibly- use your own favorite recipe .... Roll out dough 1/8" thickness and cut with a 5" cutter. Place meat filling on one side of the dough. Fold the other side over the filling and healthy pinch the edges. Deep fry in warm veg. oil till crisp and brown .. or possibly .. bake in a 400 F oven till the crust is a golden
  4. Yields 5 meat pies
