Ingredientes

  • Cake
  • 7 ounce Self raising flour
  • 8 ounce Castor sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Cocoa pwdr
  • 4 ounce Butter
  • 2 x Beaten Large eggs
  • 5 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 5 Tbsp. Water
  • 1 tsp Vannila essence Icing
  • 2 1/2 ounce Butter
  • 4 Tbsp. Cocoa pwdr
  • 8 ounce Sieved icing sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Warm lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence

Direcciones

  1. Cake: 1. Sift flour, sugar, salt and cocoa
  2. Rub in butter
  3. Stir in Large eggs, essence and liquids; beat well.
  4. Grease and flour two 8 inch cake tins, divide mix between them.
  5. Bake in a moderate oven. 325-350 deg.fahr. Gas mark 3-4. For about 35 min. Allow to cold.
  6. Choclate Icing ( fill and cover )
  7. Heat butter, blending in cocoa, then stir in icing sugar, lowfat milk and essence.
  8. Beat till smooth, thick and the correct consistency to fill and ice the cake.
  9. It's really nice warmed in a microwave oven and served with cream. Happy eating.
