Espresso Banana Breakfast Smoothie
- 1 cup milk
- 1½ teaspoons Instant Espresso powder
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 dates, pitted
- 1 Tablespoon Wheat Germ or ground flax-seed
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth

Would you believe me if I told you that I really only started drinking coffee about three years ago. It all started when I received a Keurig for Christmas one year.
I was hooked. I used to drink tons of tea and I still do, but the coffee craze hit me. Now don’t get me wrong, I visited the local Starbuck every now and then, but mostly because someone else wanted to make a coffee run and I would tag along. But then the smoothie craze hit me this year. And remember I already told you that I am a late bloomer when it comes to food trends. But combining my love for coffee and my new love for smoothies was just the tip of the iceberg.
